Jonathan PondJonathan Pond
Jonathan's work in educating the public on investing and personal financial planning has been far-reaching and widely recognized. His 20 prime time public television specials have been critically acclaimed. He has received numerous awards for his work, including the Malcolm Forbes Public Awareness Award for excellence in Advancing Financial Understanding and an Emmy award.

Over 1 million copies of his books have been sold. He is the author of The Personal Financial Planning Handbook, considered the definitive reference for financial professionals. He was educated in the areas of finance and accounting at the University of North Carolina, Emory University, and the Harvard Business School.

Thanks to a gift of shares of stock from his grandmother when he was 11, Jonathan has been active in investing most of his life. In college, he plotted a hostile takeover of one of the largest corporations in the world only to be rebuffed by a lack of funds to launch the takeover — in retrospect a fortuitous impecunious condition.

Through decades of work in the field, Jonathan is uniquely able to provide his clients with experienced and trustworthy investment guidance. He is privileged to work with individuals and families throughout the United States in helping them achieve their financial goals.
